Sanofi

For Sanofi’s ITP initiative, we created four virtual environments designed to bring a physician–patient conversation to life.

Our team constructed a digital space tailored specifically to the doctor, drawing from photos of his real offices, his personal tastes, and the nuances of his working style, ensuring every detail felt familiar and grounded.

The production unfolded across multiple virtual locations: the main office for the joint interview, a research area for the physician’s solo discussion, an exam room, and the patient’s home kitchen.

The primary interview relied on a three-camera setup, requiring three active frustums in the volume. All camera angles and moves were planned in advance using Unreal Engine for previz and shot development, giving the team a clear blueprint before stepping onto the stage.

The Direction

The goal was to create four distinct locations to provide a virtual production backdrop for a three-camera interview with supporting single interviews and b-roll.

We dove in, crafting our art direction to match the style and direction required by the client while still making it grounded in the lives of our guests.

Below is the initial direction for design and aesthetic.

The Process

Crafting the look and feel of a scene needs to be backed up with research.

To start, we built a mood board, reviewed the client's offices, and then we dove deeper; watching and taking note of every interview video they've publicly released.

Once that was done, we were ready to start the art and design process.

The Scenes

Designing a 3d set with real-world detail is a great challenge, and when you add in a short timeline, things get interesting.

The fun part is, you get to be an architect and interior designer, on top of a 3d artist and Unreal Engine specialist.

Behind the Work

We stay embedded from the first conversation to the final frame, shaping a process that keeps the entire team focused on what truly matters.

Our role is to plan, design, build, and guide every aspect of the virtual production so the creative team, talent, and client never have to worry about the technical lift.

By owning the details, story flow, environment design, camera planning, and on-set execution, we create a steady, predictable path from concept to delivery.

The result is a production where everyone walks onto the stage confident, aligned, and free to put their energy into the story they’re there to tell.
